The upsurge of a music orchestra conducting expert : Kentucky’s Logan J. Blackman

Who is Kentucky’s Logan J. Blackman and some of his music orchestra conducting work: After Logan Blackman’s parents were killed in a motorcycle accident when he was 15, he handled it in a way that seemed natural to him: He wrote music. “It was kind of what I had gone through and where I thought I was going — kind of a triumphant end,” Blackman says of his composition. The piece, “Prayer of a Broken Heart,” was premiered by the band at Blackman’s school, Lone Oak High School in Paducah (the school has since been consolidated into McCracken County High School, which is his alma mater). It also was recorded at Murray State University. Read extra information at Logan Blackman Kentucky.

Wow. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I can’t even imagine what that has been like for you. You are a strong man. Speaking aside from your personal perspective, where do you find your inspiration? Logan J. Blackman : I take a lot of inspiration from John Williams, Beethoven, Brahms, Mahler, and Mozart. What are you currently working on? Logan J. Blackman : Compositionally, I only have a new set of bassoon duets I am working on. However I intend to be writing more very soon. Most of my musical efforts today have been working towards doing some recording of piano works.

UK Symphony Orchestra is part of the UK School of Music at the UK College of Fine Arts. The school has garnered a national reputation for high-caliber education in opera, choral and instrumental music performance, as well as music education, composition, and theory and music history. Before the performance of the second work, Benediction from Concerto for Orchestra conducted by Sey Ahn, Nardolillo provided some context for what was not originally a part of the Concerto but later became its final movement. Benediction was written in 1986 for the grand reopening of Carnegie Hall where Bernstein had debuted 43 years earlier as a substitute conductor for the New York Philharmonic when he was asked at the last minute to step in for conductor Bruno Walter. The personal prayer he uttered to himself that night before raising his baton became Benediction. The Benediction began with the brass, sounding at first like a call to arms but then a soulfulness prevailed building steam as it progressed from the oboe to the clarinet and the strings. At the conclusion, baritone Taeeun Moon’s contemplative vocalization of Bernstein’s prayer, in Hebrew, asks God to keep us safe, shower us with his grace and light, and bless us with peace. It seemed like a blessing for the evening’s program as well.

The critically acclaimed University of Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro John Nardolillo, will perform next with concerto competition winner, Michael Robinson, a junior at UK School of Music. The concert will include music by celebrated composers Carl Nielson and Gustav Mahler, as well as a premiere of work by UK junior Logan Blackman. The concert will begin 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at the Singletary Center for the Arts. Read additional details on https://www.dailymotion.com/dm_63ac65ff29c1ed73272caa266c81ae8e.

Come Before His Presence – Phillip Balley: Although released in 1986, the song has remained one of the favorite Christian music tracks ever produced. It pulls the audience to the Lord. Balley reminds us that we should come to the Lord’s presence and enjoy his favors and love. This is a good choice for people with certain burdens. They can lay all of their needs at Jesus’ feet.

Arhoolie are responsible for a superb selection of vernacular gospel recordings. In 1997, the label began issuing sacred steel – gospel performances powered by lap steel guitar, shaping an intense, new strain. “Like Elmore James in heaven,” in the words of label boss, Chris Strachwitz. The Campbells would go on to command a wide following. Here, on their stunning Arhoolie debut, they are accompanied by vocalist Katie Jackson. The Clark Sisters are five Detroit siblings who were a revolutionary, though somewhat controversial, force in gospel during the late 70s and early 80s, blending spiritual concerns with secular grooves. ‘You Brought the Sunshine’ became a huge club hit. The highest-selling female gospel unit are still a going concern today, picking up several Grammys along the way.

Some interpretations of this parable use it as justification for the “deathbed conversion,” where repentance and confirmation of salvation occur directly before death. The workers represent people who convert to Christianity: the early workers are Christians born in the faith, who have spent most of their lives in the church, while the last workers are Christians who convert either on their deathbed or close to Jesus’ second coming. The denarius, then, represents salvation. All those who come to Christ, no matter when, will receive the same gift of salvation.

What a wonderful way to start your day. Ah, yes, the weekend is finally here. Friday and Saturday came and went, and inevitably, Sunday morning rolls around. If you’re like most Catholics, the thought of going to church is somewhere in your mind – even if it’s waaayy far back there. You know you should go, that’s what a good Catholic would do. You want to be a good Catholic, you really do. But this is your day off, and you’re tired. And let’s be honest – the snooze button seems a lot more appealing.

Never Would Have Made it – Marvin Snapp: If you are looking for the best song to thank the Lord, this is one of the best gospel songs for you. Snapp gives praise to the Lord for helping him achieve his dreams. He says that were it not for the Lord; he would not have made it to the levels he has achieved. Since it was released in 2007, the song has remained one of the top hits in his Thirsty Album. When Mama Prayed – Randy Travis: This song was released in 2002. It was part of the Rise and Shine Album. Its popularity can be attributed to the popularity of the Country Music Genre among audiences of all ages. The song appreciates parents who teach their children the religious ways and lead them to Church. Find extra info at https://gospeljingle.com/.

Doja Cat pics by PeepTown

Doja Cat wallpapers with peeptown.com? After a hiatus from releasing music and the uneventful rollout of her debut studio album, Amala (2018), Doja Cat earned viral success as an internet meme with her 2018 single “Mooo!”, a novelty song in which she makes satirical claims about being a cow. Capitalizing on her growing popularity, she released her second studio album, Hot Pink, in the following year. It reached the top 10 of the US Billboard 200 and spawned the single “Say So”, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart following the release of a remix featuring Nicki Minaj. This album was followed by Planet Her (2021), which spent three consecutive weeks at number two on the Billboard 200 and spawned the top 10 singles “Kiss Me More” (featuring SZA), “Need to Know” and “Woman”. See even more information on Doja Cat feet.

She was featured on a remix of The Weeknd’s single “In Your Eyes” in May 2020, as well as on the single “Shimmy” by rapper Lil Wayne from the deluxe version of his 2020 album Funeral. In June, she was featured on the single “Pussy Talk” by the City Girls. She then released the music video for her single “Like That”. At the 20th BET Awards, Doja Cat was nominated for two awards, Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Video of the Year.

In late August 2018, Doja Cat sparked controversy on social media when her Twitter account history revealed the usage of derogatory language toward gay people. In a tweet dating back to 2015, she used a slur word to describe hip hop artists Tyler, the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt. Doja Cat initially defended her past remarks, but eventually issued a series of apologies for her words and has since deleted her tweets. As a result of the controversy, Doja Cat was declared the Milkshake Duck of 2018 by NME.

Soon after her birth, Doja and her mom moved to New York City, where they lived for five years. Her family later moved back to California in Oak Park, where her mother enrolled her in ballet, tap and jazz lessons from the age of five. Her aunt, a singer, gave her singing lessons to help her get into a performing arts school. Her family then moved near the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles when she was 11 years old, where they lived in an ashram in the mountains of Agoura Hills and practiced Hinduism for four years. During this time of her life Doja would wear head-covering scarves and sing bhajans at temple. She claims that she lacked interest in school from then on, instead taking a liking for dance. While at the ashram she had been dancing the style of Indian classical dance called Bharatanatyam. As she grew older and moved away from the ashram, she moved onto breakdancing classes and joined a professional poplocking troupe with whom she competed in dance battles throughout Los Angeles while still attending high school. She also frequently skipped school to participate in online chatrooms. She eventually dropped out of high school at 16 during her junior year.

In August 2020, the song Freak, which had been on SoundCloud since 2018, was officially released on digital platforms. She won the award for Push Best New Artist at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards, where she also performed a medley of the songs Say So and Like That. She was credited as a lead artist on the remix for Chloe x Halle’s song Do It, which also featured City Girls and Mulatto, the following month. She was featured alongside Sia on the track Del Mar from singer Ozuna’s 2020 album ENOC, also released in September. The Juicy remix featuring Tyga was nominated for Top R&B Song at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards. Doja Cat was featured on singer Bebe Rexha’s single Baby, I’m Jealous, the lead single from Rexha’s upcoming second studio album, in October 2020. She performed a burlesque-themed medley of Juicy, Say So and Like That at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, inspired by Chicago and Moulin Rouge. That same month, Doja Cat performed both Baby, I’m Jealous with Rexha and Del Mar with Ozuna on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, respectively. Doja Cat was featured on the album track Motive from Ariana Grande’s 2020 album Positions, which peaked at number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming both her highest debut and second-ever top 40 entry. Crave Moore and PartyNextDoor joint effort looming?

Crave Moore and PartyNextDoor collaboration looming? Crave Moore was spotted with PartyNextDoor so several rumours regarding a colab between the two began to surface, with Atlantic being the probable record label to be involved.

Crave Moore on hip hop artist fashion trends in 2022: Music and fashion have always offered mutual support. Hip-hop music, mostly enjoyed by younger generations, tends to bring new fashion trends in-game. From multi-finger rights, gold necklaces, and sunglasses, up to tennis shoes, hoodies, flannel over shirts, and large spectacles – these are all good examples of classic hip hop fashion. Tank tops have always been present in the hip-hop world. But now, sweater vests are also coming back, but not only in that monochrome and simple form. From shades of blue and green mixed with pink and gold, up to tight pieces layered on T-shirts. Sleeveless might not be the most common yet, but it will be far more present than before.

The generational gap within hip-hop will always exist because older fans are allergic to change and younger fans’ knowledge of the past only goes but so far. The funniest part of this is almost every rap fan will be at both ends of the spectrum in one lifetime. The solution is acceptance on both ends: that rap will always evolve and sound different as it continues on, and that your entry into rap is not the start or end of it. Boom. That was easy. Please, let the youth listen to what they want.

Whenever there are protests, songs are often played as a form of protest. With the recent protests in America, music is being used again as a form of protest. The recent movement of Black Lives Matter and the opinions on it by public figures (which is mostly dominated by Rapper). The reason why Public Enemy is coming back into popularity (they dropped an incredible album recently) is because the sounds and genre signifiers of the 90s are becoming more relevant in hip-hop. There’s a good chance that Run The Jewels got into the stream with this release. Musically, hip-hop is becoming increasingly influenced by old school.

While songs have absolutely been made solely to catch on TikTok, every rap track that blows up through there isn’t engineered that way. Sometimes, a song is just really good, and has a catchy section that speaks to people or grows far and wide through paid promotion. TikTok is a big part of modern rap, and its fans simply need to see if for that it is: another vehicle for a track to take off. “TikTok songs” falls into the derogatory term category, but a song shouldn’t be downgraded just because it took off on this app.

Excellent Afrobeat media today by Audu Maikori

Top Afrobeat music today by Audu Maikori? Meet Audu Maikori, a pioneer and promoter of Afrobeat music , media and entertainment Entrepreneur & entertainment lawyer focused on film, Esports and TV. Over the years I have learned to always listen to my instincts and that inner above every other voice , because the people telling you no, don’t know your vision and your capacity – if I had listened to all naysayers – I wouldn’t be here today- would probably be in some dreary job miserable as hell! Every business comes with its unique set of problems and that can be overwhelming but I had solid partners/ co -founders each with complementary skills and together we figured out the problems as they came – so partnership is key . But the key thing that kept us going was our collective ambition and vision which was to give African talent a place in the global conversation. I recall that in the beginning when we started the record label many people wrote us off- then didn’t believe in the music industry as being viable at the time( and rightly so) but It was very clear to us that it could be- and that faith in its potentials was worth risking everything to achieve that dream. I quit my job , relocated from Abuja to Lagos, Nigeria to focus on building the dream.

Audu Maikori is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur, lawyer and creative industry expert. He is better known as the founder of Chocolate City Group- a media /entertainment company which is comprised of Chocolate City Media (Film,TV and content production), Chocolate City Kenya, CCX (live music space) and Chocolate City Music record label – one of the biggest record labels in Africa – and home to some of Africa’s most talented artistes including Grammy Nominated Femi Kuti, M.I Abaga, Dice Ailes, Ckay, Blaqbonez etc. In March 2019, Chocolate City Group signed a landmark partnership deal with Warner Music Group (one of the biggest record labels in the world) to bring the Warner catalogue to Africa and promote the Chocolate City catalogue and artists across 60 new markets globally.

16 years later my role has changed significantly to that of providing guidance to the respective CEOs of the companies in the group ( CCX, Bean Agency, Chocolate City Music, Replete etc) and verticals, setting targets and strategic goals that align with the essence of our company and its core values. The journey wasn’t easy- when I started 16 years ago- the problem was money, know-how and building the right team- today the problems aren’t that much more different – it’s just increased in size and value – we need to make more money as the company grows bigger, we need to recruit the best hands to run the companies and you still need to keep building your knowledge of your industry and other related ones as they affect your bottom-line as well.

Audu Maikori: The idea was very basic. It was just to create opportunities for people, especially those from the North to get a chance to become stars as well. Because what I saw was that every major thing about music business was in Lagos. I found out that many people from the North had to go Lagos to become stars. So why not set up something that gives them a chance to become stars from where they are, so that they don’t have to travel to somewhere to become stars? And when I say ‘North’, I don’t mean Northerners by birth but by location. Because there are many people that live in the North but they are not Northerners. There are many people in Kaduna, for example, who came from Igbo land and Yoruba land but they’ve been there for many years. So the idea was to give those people a platform to realize their dreams.

It’s been a busy last few weeks for Group CEO of Chocolate City Entertainment, Audu Maikori. In line with his unwavering commitment to elevating the conversation around African music and business, he has been front and centre at a number of different engagements – the most notable of which being the Roc Nation brunch, and a lecture at Harvard Business School.

ESAIYO, a data fabric company, has added Roberto Clemente Jr. and Audu Maikori to their team. Mr. Clemente and Mr. Maikori will be serving as brand ambassadors and will also be joining ESAIYO’s advisory board. Their additions bring expertise that better position the company in expanding its “Infrastructure as a Service” offering internationally and in the US. Audu Maikori is a lawyer with multi sectoral legal experience in infrastructure, public transport systems, privatization and intellectual property. He is also a multi award winning entrepreneur with a demonstrated history of working in the media and entertainment industry. Find even more details at Audu Maikori.
