Do you need to enjoy a blue sky on a perfect beach ? Ibiza is a perfect location to relax. What can you see in Ibiza? Punta Moscarter Lighthouse: For a relatively small island like Ibiza it’s amazing how remote and wild the northern tip can feel. This part of the island has pine forest, farmland and a coastline scattered with little holiday communities clustered around coves that cut deep into the coastline. For something a bit different, put on a pair of sturdy shoes and walk the cliff-top trail from Portinatx to the lighthouse. It was built in the 70s and at 52 metres is the tallest man-made structure on the island. The trek through pine scrub and juniper is a bit of a challenge, but the photos you can take from the headland here make it all worthwhile.
It is no secret that many of the people who head to Ibiza come for the beautiful beach resorts. There is perhaps no better place to vsiit in Ibiza than Playa d’en Bossa. This coastal resort spot is incredibly appealing for those who want an all-inclusive holiday right on the beach. It’s also the longest beach on the island, which means you won’t have any trouble securing a daybed or a lounger right on the sand. If you’re coming to Ibiza for the nightlife, then Playa d’en Bossa is ideal. There are plenty of late-night bars and clubs in the area, some of which are right on the sand.
Casita Verde is the headquarters of an ongoing sustainable living and eco-education project. Set in a restored finca, and mainly run by volunteers, they have open days every Sunday throughout the year when you can tour the farm, see buildings made from recycled materials, enjoy a home-cooked vegetarian lunch, as well as participate in workshops, listen to live music and enjoy massages and other therapies.
While dancing in a club all night is great exercise, it might be worth it to stretch your legs and get some fresh air. You can hike to the tallest point in Ibiza, called Sa Talaia, located in Sant Josep. It’s an easy, uphill, 2.4 km walk. Start the hike by walking up a street called Sa Talaia, until it forms into a path with vegetation on each side. Keep your eyes peeled for an exotic Jineta (a ferret/cat-like creature native to Africa and the Balearic islands) that might be relaxing in the trees. Once at the top you’ll get panoramic views of the whole island. Go during sunset if you really want to be blown away. See more info at https://discoveribiza.com/.
